Humanitarian & Charitable Organizations

Beyond designing new products and working with our State Associations, club, and college partners, we believe that supporting youth begins at the community level, wherever that community may be. Mazamba is committed to working with organizations that can bring soccer into the lives of youth and help further their overall academic and athletic abilities. Our commitment to youth soccer may have begun here in the U.S., but today it extends around the world through growing relationships with several international projects. We currently partner with the following organizations:

Charities

Leukemia/Lymphoma Society
Mazamba has partnered with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for their “Soccer Kicks for Cancer” program and “Honored Hero” program. We are offering our North Texas State Select Lone Star jersey at a great low price, and are donating a portion of the sales proceeds to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Ana's Playground (FILM)
Ana’s Playground reveals a tragic moment when children are brought to the brink of destruction and connection, ideology and humanity. The film opens with a group of children in a non-specific, war-torn country who are listening to a professional match while playing their own soccer game. When their ball goes flying, Ana is unexpectedly forced into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a sniper. All the characters are listening to a professional game that ebbs and flows as the story progresses. As a result, Ana finds an odd connection with her enemy, and we discover the strengthening and bonding nature of sport and recreation, and specifically the universality of the game of soccer. With the donation of 10,000 soccer jerseys to Ana’s Playground from MAZAMBA they will in turn directly use them to support various child soldier demobilization efforts around the world.

Street Soccer USA
SSUSA promote the growth and development of a national network of grassroots soccer programs supporting the impoverished and homeless realize their goals and dreams.

The Sanneh Foundation
The Sanneh Foundation’s goal is to be a unifying and innovative force in the community. The Foundation is designed to leverage existing community resources and opportunities and to "connect the dots" among urban youth, organizations, schools, and families. Tony has a vision to attract, develop and retain urban youth in our programs and provide positive environments, regardless of their ability to pay.
